Guy's experience in the Real Estate industry dates back to 1986. He began his career honing his skills in sales and marketing with a builder/developer in the Daytona Beach area. With the needed experience under his belt, Guy and his wife, Robyn, started the Global Group of companies in 1993. Their company consists of three entities - Global Marketing Services, Inc., the property management arm, Global Real Estate Services, Inc., the real estate arm and Global Household Services, Inc., the property maintenance arm of the company. The Global Group of companies have grown from a small "mom and pop" company to an industry leader in Vacation Home Rentals and Real Estate Sales in Central Florida. Guy is responsible for the company's overall direction and vision. His leadership, commitment, strong beliefs coupled with the knowledge of the vacation home market have been the catalyst, which sets the Global companies apart. Guy is one of the founding members of Discover Vacation Homes (DVH), a group formed to bring more product awareness to the advantages of staying in a vacation home. DVH is now part of VRMA (Vacation Rental Manager Association) and has hundreds of members from all over the US.
As Vice President and Co-Founder, Robyn joins in the responsibility of the overall direction of the Global companies. Robyn's professional experience in sales and marketing spans over two decades as she brings a distinct level of service and commitment to Global. Robyn oversees the Sales and Marketing Divisions for Global. Her oversight has enabled Global to grow double digits annually over the past decade. Robyn was a founding member of the (CFVRMA) Central Florida Vacation Managers Association. Robyn's creative and professional approach, coupled with her unique vision to limit management to specifically chosen communities, has been a large part of Global's success.
Russ joined the Global team in December, 2004. As General Manager, Russ brings a new level of expertise and vision to the Global team. For the past two decades, he has been in the hospitality industry managing Cendant and Hilton hotels along with individually owned resort properties. Russ has a Bachelors degree in Accounting. His experience in finance and his leadership as the General Manager makes Russ the perfect fit for the Global team. Russ is directly responsible for overseeing a portfolio of several hundred rental homes and under his leadership, success for Global means being the best. Russ' objective is to provide Global's homeowners with an excellent rate of return while ensuring an outstanding level of service for our guests.
Bill joined the Global team in June, 2002. As Director of Information and Media Technology, Bill develops and implements applications and websites that keep Global on the cutting edge. A co-founder of a large privately held ISP's in North Eastern PA during the early days of the Internet, Bill has seen how the Internet continually reinvents the standard business model. Bill continues to advance our internet strategy towards the seamless delivery of information to our clients, customers and partners. Bill oversees a team that specializes in website development, photography, video and social media.
Alex started his hospitality career in 1988 as a bellmen and has worked his way up the ranks with companies such as Hilton, Candlewood Suites and Marriott. He has been in the Orlando market since 2002 and has been a pioneer in the condo hotel market as General Manager and Regional Director. Opening and improving property operations is his passion. Along with a diverse hospitality and vacation rental background, Alex has a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management and is a Certified Leadership Coach with the John C. Maxwell Team. Alex enjoys collaborating to bring innovative ideas to the table and fostering an environment of team work and synergy. His focus will be to improve the guest experience and be a good steward over all the homes that Global manages.
Lisa Burton, the Controller of Global, has been with Global since early 2005. She is a degreed Accountant, has successfully completed the CPA Exam, and has practiced in her field for over two decades. Global is a fast-paced, multi-faceted growing entity, and Lisa loves the challenge of keeping all the parts of the Accounting Department moving and insync. Lisa manages a team of Accountin personnel that oversees the Short-term and Long-term Property Management Divisions as well as the Real Estate Division.
Adam has been a member of the Global team since 2010. As the Customer Relations Director, Adam is dedicated to delivering a level of excellence in customer service and property management unparalleled in the vacation home industry. Adam is enthusiastic about helping our guests and homeowners, but also focuses on providing a high level of quality control for all of our vacation homes. Adam, a Central Florida Native holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida and currently sits on the Board of Director's for the Central Florida Vacation Management Association (CFVRMA) and the FVRMA (Florida Vacation Rental Manager Association). With more than 12 years of experience in the real estate industry and a diverse background in Corporate Real Estate, Property Management and Customer Service, Adam is an integral part of Global's expansion in the industry. Adam is passionate about supporting industry promotion and awareness and will continue to represent Global on local, state and national tourism and vacation rental committees and advisory councils.
Cheryl grew up in Rochester, NY and moved to Orlando in 1996. She began her career with Global in 2012 as a vacation specialist. She has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry including guest services,reservations, sales and marketing. She has worked for major hotel brands in Orlando and Rochester, NY. Cheryl believes that meeting and exceeding guest expectations is key to providing a memorable guest experience.
Maggie Burke joined Global in 2013 as the Director of Real Estate Operations and Homeowner Services. Maggie has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 2001 and a Licensed Real Estate Agent 1999. Along with her husband, Jason, she owned and operated a Residential Real Estate and Long-term Property Management Office from 2001-2013. With that experience, she has helped Global grow into one of the largest Real Estate Brokerages in Central Florida. Maggie is also the key team member for Homeowner communication. As the Homeowner Liaison, she is responsible to ensure that all homeowners questions and concerns are addressed in a proper manner.
Arlene has been with Global since April, 2013 and quickly proved to be an important asset, helping raise the Global brand to another level. Arlene is responsible for the art direction and design of all our print and digital marketing materials. She brings to Global over 10-years of experience, specializing in branding for the hospitality industry. Arlene has worked with some well known brands in Central Florida like Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, LongHorn Steakhouse, Seasons 52, etc.) and Planet Hollywood (Buca di Beppo, Earl of Sandwich, etc.). With a great eye for whatâ€™s up and coming in design and marketing, Arlene has successfully rebranded Global's web presence and continues to keep us striving for more.
Jeff has been a pillar for the Global Team since 1999. He has excelled in every maintenance position leading to the promotion to Director of Maintenance in 2006. As Director of Maintenance, Jeff oversees a team of maintenance technicians and is responsible for the maintenance of several hundred rental properties. Jeff understands the delicate balance of maintaining the highest quality product for our guests while finding the most cost effective solutions for our homeowners. With the support of his highly qualified maintenance team, he can quickly handle any situation that comes his way.
Francesca (Frankie) Magliocchetti, Director of Owner Relations, is responsible for establishing partnerships with new and potential homeowners. She began her Global journey in the summer of 2012. Being active in athletics for the majority of her life, she knows what it takes to work alongside teammates as well as the competition. Passion, optimism, and communication are the keys to her success. She thoroughly enjoys working with owners from every corner of the world.
Through her tenure at Global, 6 years of college courses, various internships and experiences traveling the world, Francesca has acquired extensive customer service and marketing skills. Francesca has been involved with leading softball camps (Higher Ground, Rising Stars, Daytona State), charitable fundraising (Daytona Nascar Races), initiated volunteers at the annual American Heart Association-Heart Walk, Peer Buddies and ARC of Volusia County, Chaired as President in Community Leadership Committee-Daytona State and has been on the board of the FVRMA Event Committee.
Francesca holds a BA in Hospitality and Tourism Management and has an MBA in International Business from Webber International University.
